The Mastermind: Margot Kaye
Hey readers!
Thank you for taking the time to read - or even submit to - the Moco EmpowHER Literary Magazine! My name is Margot Kaye, and I’m a Class of 2026 student at Bethesda Chevy Chase High School. I’m thrilled to be able to bring the voices of MCPS students to light as the editor/director of this literary magazine. As a writer myself, I understand the value that literary creative expression can have, especially from the perspective of a teen in today’s world. I hope to allow fellow students to be seen and heard. I admire and deeply appreciate all writers’ willingness to be vulnerable. Thank you again for giving me and all our featured creatives this opportunity to share.

Eliana Wang is a sophomore at Montgomery Blair High School. She is the current vice president of the Potomac Community 4-H Club, the website designer for MoCo EmpowHER, and one of the webmasters for the Special Education Equal Development Society. She is interested in computer science and spends her time sleeping, playing volleyball, or listening to music.
